Third Reich Feuerschutzpolizei Oberstleutnant Four Pocket Tunic-This tunic is for a lieutenant colonel of the Fire Protection Police. The tunic is in excellent condition. It is produced in a very high quality, soft to the touch blue grey wool. There is an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There are four pockets with scalloped flaps. The breast pockets are pleated. Each closure seam is piped in pink, as is the front and lower edge of the black badge cloth collar, the edge of the black badge cloth French cuffs and the tail. The collar tabs are neatly hand applied. They are pink badge cloth with bright silver bullion columns and litzen. The sew in shoulder boards (lieutenant colonel rank) are matte silver flat wire braid with a single gold pip on each. The left sleeve has a fantastic, hand applied silver bullion sleeve eagle. Please note that every piece of insignia on this tunic has been RE-APPLIED. There are loops for a medium sized ribbon bar. The interior is fully lined in green rayon that is very clean. There is a single pocket on the left side. There is a waist belt and a hanger for an edged weapon, complete with snap clip. The tunic is a size large. Excellent and extremely handsome!
