Japanese Type 94 Hand Crank Generator-This hand crank generator was made by the Hitachi company. It would be used to power up the Armies Type 94 Mark 1 Wireless Transceiver. (Interesting note: The RF output for this receiver is 15 Watts, and has a range of about 80 km.) This generator has small legs that fold out and support a steel base that I assume would be for the receiver to sit on. There is a plug outlet on the other side. The crank with the wooden handle is still in place. In fact, this generator may still work, as the crank still turns just fine. There are a few dents, this may have been dropped at some point, but the army green finish is still approx. 80% in place. But, this does have significant dent on the top. There is a small thin plastic disk secured to the top, to be honest we are uncertain what this is. If you know the purpose of this plastic disc please let us know. This disc does have a crack in it. Otherwise, this generator is in very good condition. This may require additional shipping, as it weighs 14 pounds. Just be happy you weren’t the one who had to hike this into the jungle! A rare find.
