German WWII Transitional SA Dagger by F.W. Holler-This shows all of the characteristics of a transitional SA dagger. It includes plated silver cross guards that retain 98% of their original plated finish. The aluminum eagle is also excellent, as is the enameled SA runic button. The brown wooden handle is a nice fit and is very nicely toned. This has a painted scabbard which retains 95% of its original finish. There is some scuffing to the reverse of the scabbard but this appears to be from normal wear and rubbing on pants. The fittings on the scabbard are untouched and excellent. They retain 100% of their original plated finish. The blade on this example is in near excellent condition. It shows beautiful factory cross graining. The “Allies for Deutschland” motto is present and deeply etched. The reverse of the blade has both the classic F.W. Holler logo along with the RZM code M7/33. You can see a great example of the Holler Thermometer trademark logo. Overall, a fantastic example of a transitional SA, in fine condition!
