German WWII SS/NSKK Bread Bag- The body of this bread bag is produced in black canvas, and shows only minor wear and discoloration from use. The straps and reinforcements are both canvas and leather and are in great condition. The "D" ring is produced in steel. One of the “D”-rings and the right-side small leather strap are missing on the outside of this example. The light brown leather straps on the inside are in place and remain soft and supple. There are two buttons inside, but one does look to be a replacement. There is a steel hook on the canvas strap on the reverse that does show some rust. These were definitely used by SS troops. This one is in sound condition and a desirable collectible!
