German WWII Luftwaffe EM Buckle w/Leather Tab-This is a very well worn, one piece aluminum buckle. This does show moderate wear. If you look at the eagle, some of the pebbled background inside the wreath as well as the leaves of the wreath you can see this quite clearly. Only the underwing feathers of the eagle show any real detail. The shape of the eagle is present but worn smooth. The pebbling around the outside of the wreath is still intact, and the natural finish of the aluminum still has a nice shiny look to it. The leather tab is present and has been re-applied, it is missing its stitching. This tab is soft and supple, though it does show some wear. I am unable to make out a maker mark or a date. This buckle was worn quite a bit, and if you like that “been there” look, this one is for you. A nice placeholder.
