German WWII Labor Korps Leader’s Dagger by E&F Hörster-This RAD leader’s dagger is untouched. This is a fine example. The fittings retain approx. 80% of their original finish. The silver finish on the crossguard, scabbard and hilt are beautifully toned and give this dagger a great look. There are great details to the RAD shovel emblem at the crossguard. The white celluloid grip plates are intact, but there is one crack on one side. The scabbard is in excellent condition and remains dent free. The blade is also in near excellent condition. The obverse of the blade has the Labor Corps motto that translates to “Work Ennobles”. The reverse of the blade has the RAD nomenclature along with the E& F Hörster logo. Please be aware that there is a small bend at the very tip of this blade but you have to look very hard to see this. Overall, a nice-looking piece and certainly hard to encounter these days.
