German WWII Gas Mask with Gas Cape Bag-This is an excellent offering. Not only is this gas mask in excellent condition in every way, it is named and has owners name and rank, “Gefreiter Fritsch 943” is written under the lid, on a label that is applied to the case that holds the extra lenses. The lenses are missing unfortunately. The number for the owner is also on both the gas mask can and the mask itself. The green paint on the can is mostly intact, it does show a few scuffs but overall, the paint is near excellent. The mask is also in very good shape, with the filter can being very well marked. As mentioned earlier, the mask is also marked with the number 943. The gas cape bag is also in place. The cape is missing, and there is a piece of a cloth inside so that it retains its shape. This bag is also marked, although a bit difficult to read. The green straps are in place and though worn in a few spots, are very good. This is a great offering if you need a good-looking gas mask for your display.
