German Veterans Armband-This is another of the WWI veteran’s organizations which sprung up during the TR period. It is made of a dark blue wool with machine woven crest in the center depicting a Maltese cross with a swastika. This armband has a gold bullion stripe, so this would have been for a senior official of this veteran’s organization. This armband is not sewn together in the back. There are some moth bites and tracking in the black badge cloth, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. The star of this show is an original paper maker’s tag that is still attached to the armband. This is in good condition overall.
