German 59th General Assembly of Catholics Stickpin-This is a stick pin to commemorate the General Assembly of Catholics that happened inn Aachen in 1912. This pin is enameled in a gorgeous black, white and gold. The white shield with black cross is often associated with the Teutonic order. The crown and crosier represent Aachen’s historical importance as a coronation site for both German kings, and a large religious center. The imperial eagle is on the top. This all sits on a knurled stick pin. This is marked on the reverse. This badge is excellent.
