German 1936 Berlin Olympics Cigarette Book Volume II-This is volume 2 only of the two set Berlin Olympics Cigarette Books produced by the Cigaretten Bilderdienst (Cigarette Picture Service) in Hamburg in 1936 to celebrate the Olympic games. These German cigarette books were collected by the German public before World War Two and in the early days of the war. Each album was illustrated with photographs collected by the owner from cigarette packs and then pasted into the album. This particular two album set is titled “Olympia 1936 BAND II” with a gold embossed bell with eagle and Olympic rings. This book is in a large format, measuring approx. 12 inches high (30.48cm) by 9 ½ (24.13cm) inches wide. The blue cloth hardcover is in very good condition. Volume II has 165 pages and contains 200 pasted in photos, several of which show Jesse Owens. All of these photos are in place. This is in very good condition.
