English Version of Mein Kampf-This is the 1939 English version published by Houghton Mifflin of Boston. This is the annotated and unexpurgated edition. The hardcover is in very good condition. The red hardcover shows some slight fading, most likely from sitting on a shelf for years and being near a window. The inside pages are very clean! There are 1003 pages in this edition, and this includes an index. The dust cover is missing on this example. There is a gold script embossed on the spine that is in very good condition. In September 1938, the firm of Reynal & Hitchcock decided that it would be imperative to have an unexpurgated edition available to the English-speaking public. They found that a team of scholars at the New School of Social Research were in the midst of preparing such a translation. Reynal & Hitchcock approached both this committee and Houghton Mifflin about publishing the translation. This list of editorial sponsors can be seen on the title page. Very interesting English language copy of Mein Kampf. There are a few discoloration spots to the front and back hardcovers of this book. This book is in very good condition considering its age. Tight binding, and the inside pages very clean though evenly age toned. Please be aware that someone has put their name on the inside first page. But other than this it is in very good condition.
