Japanese Hinomaru “Meatball” Flag with Kanji-This is the National flag of Japan with its bright sun. This is unusual as it is much larger than the ones we usually encounter. This flag measures 71 (180cm) inches long by 53 inches wide (134cm). This one is produced in a soft, smooth linen like bunting with a red sun, or “meatball” that is separately applied, producing a mirror image on the reverse. There is extremely minor discoloration throughout. The hoist ends corners are reinforced in brown leather and has small ties for hanging. As stated, it does have a few stains, but overall, this is in near excellent condition, and a rare find in this large size!
