WWII German Kriegsmarine Officer Tunic, Vest and Trouser Set-This is a beautifully matched set. The tunic is produced in dark blue wool. It has extremely minor wear and discoloration from use. It is double breasted, with two rows of six navy style gilt finished buttons. There is a single pocket on the left breast with two pockets with straight flaps at the waist. There is a beautiful gold bullion over dark blue breast eagle. This has a lovely dark tone to it. Each sleeve has bullion career insignia for an engineer. There is also a wide gold bullion tresse strip at the end of each sleeve. This is for a leutnant zur see. There is a single set of loops for an award on the left side. The interior is partly lined in dark blue rayon. It is excellent. There are pockets on each side. This is a size medium. The vest Is produced in similar dark blue wool to the tunic. It is in great condition as well and has all of its bakelite buttons in place. Same for the trousers. Excellent and clean. There is a rayon stripe down each leg. There are hip pockets and rear pockets. There is a six button fly and two additional buttons at the waist. There are buttons for suspenders and a set of vintage ones are included. The waist is a size 32 and these are 46” in length. Excellent overall!
