WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet-This helmet retains approximately 90% of its original factory applied blue gray finish. The Luftwaffe eagle decal is lightly toned and nearly fully intact. Inside there is a brown leather liner that has minor wear and discoloration. There is a zinc liner band and a partial drawstring. There is a name handwritten onto the liner. The side of the interior is stamped Q62, indicating production by Quist in the size of 62. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot DN 137. There is a brown leather chin strap that is worn but complete. A very good example overall.
