WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This example retains 80% of its rough texture field grey combat finish. The decal is heavily worn but partially visible. The tan leather liner is in very good condition, remaining clean and having just a few small scuffs. It is size stamped 54 and there is a drawstring. The zinc liner band is maker marked, dated 1940 and size stamped 62/54. The side of the interior is stamped hkp 62 indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 62. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number (looks like) 1821. There is a nice dark brown leather chinstrap that is RBNrd. A very good example!
