WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This combat helmet has a dark field grey, rough texture finish that remains an amazing 99% intact. Wow! The left side has an army decal that checks in at 99% as well, with the eagle head touching the air vent which is pretty neat. The interior is excellent, with its size stamped 57 tan leather liner appearing as new. There is an unused/unstrung drawstring and a zinc liner band. The side of the interior is stamped hkp 64 indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with a lot number that reads 2142, indicating production in 1942. There is a dark brown leather chinstrap that is ordnance marked and dated 1943. A fantastic example overall!
