WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This combat helmet has a dark field grey, rough texture finish that remains an amazing 90% intact. The left side has an army decal that checks in at 95%. The interior is excellent, with its size stamped 56 pigskin liner appearing as new aside from extremely minor wear and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1943 and size stamped 64/56. There is a name, Resing, written on the liner. The rear skirt of the interior is stamped EF 64 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with a lot number that appears to read 2948. There is a light brown leather chinstrap as well. A great example overall!
