Section of Fabric from WWII German Luftwaffe Glider-This great piece is a section of fabric from a German glider. It is the Baltic cross, painted in black with white border of a blue/green field. The section measures 16 ½” by 19 ¾” at its widest and longest. The reverse has hand written (by the GI who brought it home) scrip that reads, simply, “taken from German glider”. It is in very good condition with some creases/folds. It is housed in a decent looking frame to safely display it, and may require additional shipping due to the size. A unique item that is very scarce!
