German WWII Pith Helmet Shields for Kriegsmarine-This is a gorgeous set of shields that would be worn on a tropical pith helmet for Kriegsmarine. This set includes both the national tri-color shield which would be attached to the right side of the helmet and a national eagle shield, in gold on black, that would be attached to the left side. These are in very good condition. The colors are vibrant and 85% in place. There is some slight finish loss (spots) on the black portion of the shield. The eagle shield has one of its original prongs remaining, the tri-colored shield retains all three of its original prongs. These measure 41mm tall, 35mm wide. This is a very rare set of textbook Navy insignia. Won’t last long.
