WWII German Army Artillery NCO Waffenrock-This is an issue quality example produced in field grey wool that is very clean, with minor tracking in a few areas. This has an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There is red artillery piping at each closure seam edge, around the French cuffs, at the tail and at the front and lower edges of the dark green badge cloth collar. There is NCO tresse at the front and upper edges of the collar as well. The collar tabs and cuff tabs are silver NCO tresse over red badge cloth. The sew in shoulder boards are dark green badge cloth with NCO tresse. There is red piping and you can see that at some point there was a chain stitched number as well (19). This NCO was promoted to unterfeldwebel while wearing this tunic as you can see that the small strip of NCO tress at the end of each shoulder board has been period added. The breast eagle is an NCO type in silver flat wire over a double green backing. There are loops for a single badge on the left side. The interior is fully lined in green rayon. There is minor wear only. There is a pocket on the left side and another in the tail. There are ink stamps above the left pocket. These indicate the size info, the name of the maker and the date, 1938. This is a size medium. Very good condition!
