WWI German Model 1917 Combat Helmet-This is the shell only, there is no liner but there is a steel liner band. The finish is field grey and it remains 70% intact. The side of the interior is stamped W 66 indicating production by Hermann Weissenburger & Co., Stuttgart-Cannstatt who made shells in exclusively this size only. A good example!
