Veteran Bring Back German WWII Panzer ID Flag-This is the traditional Balkan Cross tank identification flag or Panzer ID flag. It is in very good condition overall. It measures approx. 78 inches (198.12cm) long and 38 inches (96.52cm) wide. This handsome flag is constructed of smooth bunting material and has four grommets which were used to secure the flag to the back of the tank, facing the sky in order to prevent friendly fire from German aircraft. The flag is a printed example, with a white disc and a printed Balkan cross applied onto the red base. The colors are vibrant. There are slight moth bites and holes on one side of the Baltic cross so please be sure to look closely at the photos. This panzer id flag was purchased from a very good friend of the veteran who brought it home. We will supply the name and any info that we have on this veteran with the buyer. A very desirable flag.
