German WWII Postcard-This postcard depicts a solemn moment, bringing a comrade to final rest. The caption reads “AUF DIESER LAFETTE WIRDE HERMANN LONS IN DER LUNENBURGER HEIDE ZUR LETZEN RUNS GEFAHREN” or “Hermann Lons was driven on his last run in the Lunenburg Heath on this carriage”. This is in very good condition, with some age toning. It has a great vintage look. The black and white photo is clear. The reverse of the card is nicely marked.
