German WWII Funeral Sash for a High Official-This is a red satin funeral sash that measures 57 inches (145cm) in length and 10.5 inches (27cm) in width. There is a gold bullion fringe on one end of this sash. The other end looks to be cut off. There’s one applique patch on this this sash it is a black, printed swastika on a white satin disc. The script translates to “with gratitude and loyalty”. This would have been displayed at a high official’s funeral. This sash has fading and some areas of wear to the fabric. The bullion fringe is still in very good condition.
