German WWII Early SA Dagger by Weyersberg-This is a very nice example overall. The nickel silver fittings on the pommel and crossguard are excellent and have a nice matte look. The brown wooden handle is excellent in both color and condition. The nickel silver eagle and SA runic button are also tightly integrated into the handle and have good details, with the button having great enamel. The crossguard is marked “Om” for the Ostmark SA Gruppe. The anodized scabbard is very good, though there is one small dent on the reverse of the scabbard, as well as a small dent to the ball tip. Please see photos. The scabbard fittings are in very good condition, though there is a scuff at the lowest scabbard fitting. The desirable Weyersberg marked blade is in near excellent condition and you can see some factory cross graining still exists. There are the usual in and out marks. The maker’s logo is deeply etched on the reverse. You can clearly see the motto “Alles fur Deutschland” on the obverse. This comes with a short leather hanger that is in very good condition as well. This is near excellent overall.
