German WWII Brass Hitler Wall Plaque-This is a bronze oval shaped plaque with a relief of Adolf Hitler in profile. The interesting thing is that Hitler is in civilian dress. The script around the plaque reads “DEUTSCHE VOLK HILF DIR SELBST, DANN HILFT DIR GOTT ADOLF HITLER” translates to “GERMAN PEOPLE HELP YOURSELF, THEN GOD WILL HELP YOU”. This plaque is made out of a stamped brass metal. This plaque is very lightweight. It measures 9 inches (22.86 cm) long and 7 ½ inches (19.05cm) wide at the widest point. There is a hook on the back, at the top. There is some discoloration on this area of the plaque caused by the hook, but this is minor. Overall, this unusual and desirable plaque is in excellent condition.
