German WWII Army Military Photo Album-This is a great photo album that contains approx. 44 photos. 8 of the photos are loose, and there are a few photos that are missing from the pages. Please be aware that this book is just about half full, we have 12 blank pages near the back. This book is covered in a black leather like material, the cover has the white text “Kreigserinnerungen” or “War memories” in the lower right corner. The cover also has a metal stahlhelm helmet insignia. This helmet has a very nice, detailed shield. The insignia measures 2 ½ inches (6.35cm) wide, and 1 ½ inches (3.81cm) tall. It is in very good condition. The black leatherette cover does have a fairly large scrape in the lower center. Please be aware of this and be sure to look at the photos. The book itself measures 11 ¼ inches (28.575cm) wide, by 8 ½ inches (21.59cm) tall. It is bound with a white, black and red twisted cod that has tassels on the end. The first few photos are captioned, including photos of his mom and dad. The next set of photos are out in the field. You can see a few photos of SS guys, with their insignia. There is a photo of a destroyed tank, and another photo of tanks being moved. More wartime shots. Overall, a very interesting collection.
