German WWII Army Buckle with Tab-This is produced in pebbled aluminum. The details do show moderate wear, as the eagle’s chest feathers are worn fairly smooth. The wings retain good detail. The finish has some of the original green finish remaining in the very lowest details of the obverse, with a slight bit more in place on the reverse. The catch is the integrated slot type, and the roll bar/prongs are plated aluminum. This buckle is marked H.A. below the adjusting bar for the maker Hermann Aurich. There is a brown leather tab, which is also marked for Aurich and dated 1938. Overall, this is in good condition.
