Dutch WWII NSB Party Patch-This is insignia is for the NSB “National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands/Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland”. This group was formed in late 1940 as its own paramilitary formation, based on the German Allgemeine SS. Members wore the basic black NSB uniform, with rank tabs imitating the SS tabs and a distinct sleeve and cap badge. This triangular shaped, black wool badge would have been worn by political leaders of the NSB. It would be worn on the left upper arm of their black uniform. This BeVo example is in very good condition. These are getting hard to find.
