WWII German Waffen SS Special Leather Rabbit Fur Cap-This is a rare cap! It has a black leather body to go along with the white, brown and black rabbit fur. The flaps and visor are lined in rabbit fur with the exterior of each in black leather. The side flaps have a series of buttons with an adjustable strap on one side. The front flap was originally stitched to the front….one is no longer attached and both were glued at some point. See pics please and feel free to ask questions! The rest of the interior is lined in golden brown cloth and lightly padded. It has maker info, perhaps unit info by followed by the date, 1943 and the size, 58. A great example of a rare cap!
