WWII German Luftwaffe Summer Visor for Signals Other Ranks Personnel-This is a nice-looking cap. It has a removable white ribbed cloth top cover which has a bit of discoloration and a few small stains. The eagle is zinc and missing its finish. The ribbed black cloth center band is piped in brown for signals personnel. There is a black patent leather chinstrap that is in fine condition. Same for the visor, which is black vulkanfibre with a green crosshatched underside. The interior is correctly unlined. The sweatband has a few tears but is still soft and supple. The underside is stamped “3. LN 23” which would be a signals (nachrichten) unit. It is a large size 58. Very good condition overall!
