Third Reich Schutzpolizei Visor Cap-This cap is produced in blue green wool that is in very good condition, with minor wear and discoloration only. It is in the NCOP style. The green piping is for schutzpolizei/municipal police. The center band is chocolate brown badge cloth, showing minor discoloration only. The aluminum insignia is excellent, retaining all of the finish. The chin strap is black patent leather and in fine condition. The visor is black vulkanfibre, showing moderate fading and crazing with some of the black finish missing. The underside is orange brown and cross hatched. The top panel of the interior is lined in golden brown cloth while the sides are golden brown cloth. There is wear and discoloration to the top panel. There is a rhomboid shaped moisture shield that is maker stamped. There are a few small tears in the moisture shield. The orange brown ersatz leather sweatband is stiff with some wear and tear. The cap is a size 55. Overall good condition!
