The green wool is as soft as butter and in excellent condition. Same for the dark green velvet center band. The dark green piping is fully intact. The insignia consists of a beautiful silver bullion eagle over dark green wool. The wreath and cockade are also silver bullion over dark green. There is an aluminum cockade. The black vulkanfibre visor has crazing but it is very clean. The interior is fully lined in soft gold silk. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield with the maker info. This cap was produced by eReL. The sweatband is soft tan leather. It is in fine shaped with minor wear and discoloration from use. There is a set of initials on the sweatband, R D. Also hand written onto the sweatband is “Dg.”. It is a size 57. Excellent and desirable!
