Early Pre WWII German Luftwaffe Glider Pilot’s Leather Crash Helmet-This is made of a black leather with multiple screen ventilation ports along with sturdy padded leather buffers around the circumference and over the top and sides of this unique looking helmet. It has a black visor and permanently attached leather chin strap. The interior is a size 56 ribbed grey cloth, this is complete with a hefty neck flap. It would snap under the chin with a series of adjustable buttons. Unique item used by the DLV and NSFK. Sound condition.
