Wehrmacht “WG” Civilian Personnel Stick Pin-This badge was awarded to civilian members of the armed forces. It was designed by Otto Placzek of Berlin and instituted on the 1st of October 1941. There was a brooch for women and a lapel pin for males. They were issued to civilian auxiliaries (Wehrmachtsgefolge) attached to the German Armed-Forces. These are made of stamped steel and are bronze washed. It shows a large WG superimposed over an eagle. Below this is a nice static swastika. This is all enclosed in a bronze circle. This sits on a knurled stick pin. These pins are in near excellent condition. We have a few of these and the one you receive will be as good if not better than the one in the photo.
