German WWII Cased SS Four Year Long Service Award-This is a beautiful medal. This is the 4-year faithful service medal for an SS man. It is a round, zinc, black finished medal which has the SS runes inside a wreath. The reverse bears the inscription "Für Treue Dienste in der SS" superimposed over a large number 4. The finish is partially intact only. This award measures 37mm in diameter. It includes a long portion of the correct cornflower blue ribbon and the correct elongated suspension ring. The case is also very good. It shows some slight use. The white runes on the cover are excellent and very clear. The inside is lined with a light beige flocking that is in very good condition. Overall, this is in great condition-025 and very desirable!
