German WWII SS Officer Belt and Buckle Set-This is a gorgeous set! This black patent leather belt is in near excellent condition. The leather is still soft and supple, with minimal scuffing and crazing. The leather tab is still in place and is also in very good shape. This belt measures 39 inches (99.06 cm) long, so it will easily fit up to a 32-inch waist. The buckle is the best part of course. It is made of 2-piece aluminum and has the textbook SS markings on the reverse. It is very nicely marked with the O/C diamond logo, which means this was made by Overhoff & CIE. It is also nicely marked reverse, with the RZM motto followed by 36/38 and the SS runes inside a circle. This buckle does show some wear to the high points of the details, someone wore the heck out of this buckle. The chest feathers and motto do show some detail loss, but this is only from normal wear. Overall, this is near excellent and a great SS piece to add to your collection.
