German WWI Combat Field Belt-This is a very early example of a combat belt. The black leather color is faded so it appears as a dark brown color but it was originally black. The leather is still very soft and supple. This shows moderate wear, but if you choose to condition this it may clean up nicely. There is a brass catch. This is nicely stamped on the underside of the belt. This belt measures 36 inches and is marked 92 (cm) on the tip, so will fit up to a size 30 waist. The tongue is maker marked but difficult to read. Overall good condition.
