WWII German Made Model 1943 Rangefinder with Case and Accessories-This is an excellent example housed inside its original compartmented case. There is a combination of both German and Swedish languages seen on this piece. This is either a war-time contact item for the Swedish military, or a wartime production item that became surplus and bought by the Swedish military. There are many accessories including extra bulbs, battery boxes (batteries not included), dual bi-pod legs, rain tubes etc. The triangular metal case with shoulder mount is also included and loaded with accessories as well. The instrument itself is stamped with the ordnance code “fwq” indicating production by Saalfelder Apparatebau GmbH followed by the date 1943. This is a stereoscopic range finder that works well, with clear optics and fully functioning controls. Excellent!
