Russian WWII Grenade Carrying Bag-This is a white canvas bag that has the capacity to hold two Russian Dyakonov 33 grenades. It is made of a sturdy white canvas with two pockets, a center leather strap to hold the bag flap in place. The reverse has two looped leather straps to hold this onto a pack or a belt. This comes with two Russian FULLY INERT 1933 Dyakonov grenades inside the pockets. These are anti-personnel fragmentation grenades. This style of grenade was composed of three separate pieces that were stored in different crates until use. These parts included the warhead, the sleeve, the spring-loaded handle, and the fuse tube. These would all be assembled just before combat. The warhead and handle were screwed together and carried in a grenade pouch and the fuses were wrapped in waxed paper and carried separately in the pouch's internal pocket. The green finish is 90% in place, The top is marked with a maker stamp. This measures 7 ½ inches (19.05cm) in length, the head measuring 2 ¾ inches (6.985cm) in diameter. Overall, this bag has a few discolorations, but the bag and the grenades are all in very good condition.
