German M31 Model Wehrmacht Canteen-This is in good condition. The wool covering does have moth bites and several small holes so please be sure to look closely at the photos. The wool has shrunk slightly from age and makes it hard to close the side snaps. The leather harness and buckles are all in very good condition. The neck of the flask is nicely marked ESB 41 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld of Berlin in 1941. The black bakelite cap is present and nicely marked F7/S. This is, as of now, an unknown maker. The snap clip retains its green finish. This canteen is in good condition overall.
