German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Krebs-Very good example with a handsome pumpkin orange handle that has its twisted and toned silver bullion grip wire. The orange celluloid handle has toned slightly darker on the front and has faded a bit on the reverse which actually gives this an interesting look. There is also a small crack at the base of the handle, on the reverse where the handle meets the crossguard. Please be sure to look closely at the pictures. This is a good-looking example with the airplane gray fittings throughout which are very appealing. The pebbled scabbard is also nicely toned to match the fittings. It is in very good condition, though there is one spot of slight damage on the lower reverse. The blade is spectacular with the desirable and scarce Julius Krebs logo on the reverse. The blade shows the usual in and out marks, and it’s hardly worth mentioning since this blade is so nice but there is one cuff on the obverse and reverse that is caused by the rubbing of the inner bands of the scabbard. Again, we just want to bring it to your attention. This piece is in near excellent condition, and it is nice to find a rare maker.
