German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Klaas-This dagger has a good looking exterior with a white celluloid handle and a thin twisted silver grip wire. The handle is a bit loose and we have not tried to tighten this. It shows nice burnishing and details to the fittings. These fittings show little wear and have a nice pewter like tone. The pebbled scabbard is also nicely toned and is in very good condition. The scabbard is loose and the blade will fall out of the scabbard if it is tipped upside down, so please be aware. The blade is in good condition as it shows the usual in and out marks, and could use a good cleaning, but overall is very good. You can see the Klaas logo deeply etched on the reverse of the blade. This is a sound example that would make a decent display piece.
