German WWII 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Paul Weyersberg-This is about as nice as they come. The blue Moroccan leather handle and scabbard are in near excellent condition. The wire twisted wire grip wrap is in place and nicely toned to a gold color that matches the toning of the sunwheel inlay at the top. This is an early example with solid nickel fittings throughout including the chain hanger. The pommel cap and hilt retain 95% of their finish, and the brass swastikas have a nice finish and details. The nickel silver fittings on the scabbard are also in good condition with the fitting near the tip of the scabbard showing some finish loss. The blade on this example is in excellent condition with the Weyersberg logo just under the crossguard. The solid nickel chain is also in great shape. You will not be disappointed in this dagger!
