German WWI Imperial Engraved Artillery Regimental Sword-This measures approx. 39 inches in length. The nickel silver plated “P” guard hilt is plain but in near excellent condition with 95% of its plating intact. The black enameled handle with triple wire grip wrap is excellent. The curved scabbard has approx. 70% of its original paint remaining. This has a fixed single hanger loop. The triple engraved sword with blued panel is in excellent condition and depicts a field artillery unit on one side. The opposite site has the exact name of this unit deeply engraved into the background blued panel. Very sound condition for a desirable sword.
