German WWII Set of Shoulder Straps for Oberlandforstmeister-These would have been worn by a Senior Country Forest Master (equivalent to a Major) in the Heer Forestry Service. The Germans have always been quite involved in protecting their forests. They had several departments that were involved with protecting and economizing the German forests. This is a set of sew in shoulder board that are made out of a green and gray braided tresse. The dark green badge cloth is in very good shape, with no moth damage. There is a spot of discoloration on the face of both shoulder boards, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. Overall, very good.
