WWII US Navy Named and Documented M-421a Jacket Grouping- This grouping for naval aviator Josef Henry Obzina includes his summer flight jacket, multiple photos, his certificate indicating he passed his training requirements, his aviator wings, and a copy of his separation form, dated 5 June, 1947. The jacket is produced in lightweight tan cloth that is excellent, showing only minor discoloration from use. There is a large name tag of dark brown leather. The tag indicates it is a size 40 and was produced by the Popular Mfg. Co. of New York City. His training certificate is dated 24 July, 1943 and hand signed by his commanding officer, as well as the superintendent of aviation training. He graduated from USN Air Station in New Orleans. His gilt finished wings are in excellent condition. The photos include pictures of planes and ships, some of them are identified on the back. An interesting grouping in excellent condition!
