HG-50 WWII German Rural Police Office Tschako-This is a great example of this type! The field grey felt body is very clean with just a few tiny pin holes and areas of tracking. The chocolate brown cap and visors are extremely nice, with only slight wear to the edges. The clamshell chinstrap is fully intact and in great shape. The two-piece officer insignia is impressive as is the bullion, removable cockade. The insignia plate is not attached, the nuts are missing so it is simply set in place. It stays put when under the cockade and chinstrap. The interior is the officer type with the fish eye liner of gold cloth. The tan leather liner is excellent. There is an ink stamp at the back which indicates this is a size 57 1/2. This is produced by eReL as indicated by the large circular tag inside the dome. Near excellent overall!
