WWII German Political Leader’s Judicial Official Belt and Buckle-This great example features a light brown leather belt and aluminum buckle. The buckle has a silver finish that is excellent with no visible wear. The reverse of the buckle is RZM stamped followed by M4/27 indicating production by Overhoff & Cie Lüdenscheid. The keeper is aluminum as well. The brown leather belt shows well. Both slides are present and there is an aluminum keeper. The keeper is marked RZM M4/46 indicating production by Wilhelm Schroder & Co. Lüdenscheid. The rig measures 36" overall so will fit up to a size 32. This is a late war example where the belt looks unfinished and the leather feels a bit "rubbery". This is a special material developed due to wartime shortages. The slides actually hold down the folded over ends which retain the keeper and buckle. Interesting and in excellent condition!
