WWII German (Norwegian Reissue) Headset C 37/e, Rare-This scarcely encountered set was used by personnel of the Coastal Artillery and Luftwaffe. This exact example was reissued after WWII and used by Norwegian forces. The identification plates are the only change. It is possibly refinished as well. It is complete with the headset, rubber ear cups and microphone, which swivels ups and down. The cords are fully intact, as is the large plug. The switch on the power source moves to the on/off position smoothly. The reverse of the power source has two ink stamps with the word "geprüft", which means inspected or checked. The plug had a triangle shaped badge which indicates that this is a 60-volt piece of equipment. There are a few areas on the cord that are exposed. The leather strap is in fine condition, well-marked, and both of the snap clips function as intended. This set was also able to be used while wearing a gas mask. We found a great picture on Pinterest which shows one of these in use on the coast of Norway by a German coastal artillery soldier. Near excellent and scarcely found!
